The Canaveral Port Authority continues to monitor the COVID 19 virus situation to ensure we are keeping our employees, guests and extended community well informed.

Our “Adjusting Course” plan follows the health and safety guidelines recommended by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We have implemented safety protocols and practices at our Jetty Park Beach and Campground to prevent and mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus in our park and campground.

To ensure everyone’s enjoyment and the safe use of our beach, fishing pier and campground facilities, we are continuing to limit  large group gatherings to minimize crowded environments and promote socially distant protocols. Tent campsites remain closed.

Our current protocols for Jetty Park Campground include requirements and rules for camping at the Park and using Park facilities.

While our campground is open, we are limiting our overall capacity to ensure our guests and staff can maintain socially distant protocols that have been recommended by the CDC.

Effective March 1, 2021, tent campsites remain closed. All other camp sites are open. To make a reservation, you must book online or over the phone. If you have an existing cabin reservation for dates in March 2021 or later, those reservations are being honored.

We are NOT accepting reservations for tent campsites, as those remain closed. If you  have a reservation for a tent campsite, please reach out to us for more information.

Updates will be posted on Port Canaveral’s website and social media platforms as situations and circumstances may change with COVID 19 in our community. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn for the latest updates.
