PUR-ITB-19-5 North Cargo Berth 8 Upland Improvements

Summary Description:  Construct upland berth improvements at North Cargo Berth 8 consisting of a 164,291 SF paved area adjacent to the open pier and bulkhead wall wharf.  The improvements will include asphalt paving, stormwater management, high mast lighting, utility installation, and nearby roadway modifications.  The connecting roadway, Snapper Road, is to be widened, repaved, and is to include drainage improvements.  Each project aspect is to include miscellaneous demolition and earthwork.
 
Estimated project cost is approximately $4,000,000.

PUR-RFP-19-1 Cruise Terminal 8 Passenger Gangway Replacement

Summary Description:  The Canaveral Port Authority is seeking proposals from qualified Firms to design, fabricate, and install one (1) new passenger gangway to replace an existing passenger gangway at Cruise Terminal No. 8, Port Canaveral, Florida (PUR-RFP-19-1).  The Request for Proposal (RFP) is a ONE step process which will include Qualifications, Technical, Pricing, and Scheduling.  

Project Budget is $2,000,000 (U.S. Dollars) not including alternates if any.

PUR-RFQ-19-3 Owner's Representative Services for CT8 & CT10 Modifications

Summary Description:  The Canaveral Port Authority is seeking qualifications from interested engineering and design firms to provide Owner's Representative Services for Cruise Terminal 8 & 10 modifications to include improvements to both terminal buildings, both piers, and CT-8 passenger boarding bridge replacement for the Canaveral Port Authority, Cape Canaveral, Florida, PUR-RFQ-19-3, PN# 19-017.

Project construction budget is estimated at $46,480,000 (U.S. Dollars) inclusive of all soft costs.

PUR-RFP-19-6 CT8 / CT10 Landside Modifications

Summary Description:  The Canaveral Port Authority is seeking proposals from qualified Construction Management at Risk firms for the CT8 / CT10 Landside Modifications (PUR-RFP-19-6 / PN 19-002) project for the Canaveral Port Authority, Cape Canaveral, Florida. The modifications at CT-8 will include a new luggage building with loading dock of approximately 8,164 SF, an expansion of the existing building of approximate 4,684 SF, all related electrical, communications, civil, site improvements and underground work adjacent to the existing terminal. CT-10 will require minimal improvements to the interior of the building and to the site. Both terminals will remain in operation during construction. Request for Proposal is a two step process.  Step 1 is a Qualifications Proposal process, and Step 2 is a Technical, Cost, and Schedule Proposal process. Participation in Step 2 will be limited to Step 1 Proposers who were successfully short-listed.

Project Budget is $39,850,000 (U.S. Dollars) not including alternates if any.

PUR-RFQ-19-2 General Engineering Services for Continuing Contract

Summary Description: The Canaveral Port Authority is seeking qualifications from interested firms to provide General  Engineering Services on a Continuing Contract for the Canaveral Port Authority, Cape Canaveral, Florida, PUR-RFQ-19-2.

PUR-ITB-19-6 Self Propelled Telescopic Boom with Jib

Summary Description:  The Canaveral Port Authority is seeking to purchase a new Self Propelled Telescopic Boom with Jib per the specifications outlined in the solicitation document.

PUR-ITB-19-7 Signal Coordination of George King Blvd

Summary Description: The purpose of this project it to interconnect and synchronize the traffic signal system to improve traffic flow along the corridor and allow the County as the maintaining agency to troubleshoot issues remotely from their traffic management center. The fiber cable will be used to interconnect the signals and tie them into the FDOT fiber on SR 528.  Existing pathway from George King Blvd-North Atlantic intersection to the West up to George King Blvd-A1A intersection will be used for the new fiber. Contractor will be responsible for coordinating required activities with the Brevard County, Traffic Operations office.

Estimated project cost is approximately $400,000.00.

PUR-ITB-19-4 LNG Training Facility

Summary Description:  Construction of a liquid natural gas (LNG) firefighting training facility at Port Canaveral Florida. Included in the new work, but not limited to, is a cast in place reinforced concrete slab, metal bar grate inlays for drainage, shallow cast in place drainage trench, drainage pipe, installation of water supply pump, water line, hydrants, utility connections, earthwork, and grading. Demolition includes existing asphalt pavement, existing fences, and other miscellaneous items.

Estimated project cost is approximately $500,000.  
 
Non-mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for 11:00 AM on March 28, at 445 Challenger Rd, Cape Canaveral, FL  32920.  Pre-registration is not required to attend; however, you must have a driver’s license or employer badge with you at the site visits.

PUR-ITB-19-3 Cove Plaza Repairs

Summary Description: At the Cove Plaza, replace sections of the concrete plaza apron, sidewalks, and curbs, stabilize MSE walls with jet grouting, replace settled asphalt pavement, and replace joint seals.
 
Estimated project cost is approximately $750,000.
