Port Canaveral, FL – December 6, 2025 – MSC Cruises MSC Grandiosa arrived at Port Canaveral today to begin week-long sailings to the Caribbean and Bahamas from the Central Florida port.  As the second MSC Cruises ship based at Port Canaveral, the MSC Grandiosa joins the MSC Seashore which shifts to three- and four-day cruises, to provide cruise guests with a range of itinerary options departing from the world’s busiest cruise homeport.

“MSC is a valued partner, and we’re thrilled to have this beautiful new ship call Port Canaveral her home,” said Capt. John Murray, Port Canaveral CEO. “The addition of MSC Grandiosa doubles their sailing options from our Port and speaks volumes to the confidence in our ability to consistently deliver a world-class guest experience.”

Lynn Torrent, President, MSC Cruises North America added, “MSC Grandiosa’s arrival marks a major milestone for us. This is the first time we’ve had two ships sailing from Port Canaveral and the first time a Meraviglia-plus Class ship has come to the U.S.  I want to thank our partners at Port Canaveral for supporting our continued investment in the region, which is making it easier than ever for guests to enjoy MSC Cruises’ mix of European style and American comfort.”

To commemorate MSC Grandiosa’s arrival, Port representatives joined MSC Grandiosa Captain Danilo Cha on board for a traditional maritime plaque exchange.

It can accommodate more than 6,300 passengers with a wide range of dining, entertainment and activity options, as well as open-air recreation areas that include a sprawling water park and other family-friendly amenities. The ship also features 2,421 staterooms and suites served by more than 1,700 crew members, including the exclusive MSC Yacht Club with private butler service.
