"The Canaveral Port Authority is proceeding with a phased re-opening of Jetty Park Campground that includes new camper requirements and new rules for camping at the Park and using Park facilities.

Phase Two re-opening of Jetty Park complies with the requirements of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s “Safe. Smart. Step-by-Step.” re-opening Florida plan, and follows the guidelines recommended by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Increased safety measures are being implemented at Jetty Park Campground to limit large group gatherings and promote social distancing to prevent and mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus in our community. There will be new rules for using the campground, new procedures for camping, and campground capacity limits will be controlled.

We continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation and coordinate our efforts with federal, state and local government agencies – like the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Governor’s office, and the Florida Dept. of Health (DOH) – to ensure we are doing everything to keep our employees and extended community safe and well informed.

Updates will be posted on Port Canaveral’s website as situations evolve or change. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn for the latest updates."
