Sponsorship Requests

Port Canaveral serves as the Gateway to Central Florida and our region’s maritime link to the international marketplace. In addition to our important economic role, the Canaveral Port Authority is a committed community partner in supporting activities and programs that contribute to greater understanding of Port operations and the maritime industry; environmental stewardship; and helping our community thrive.

To better serve the community, the Canaveral Port Authority has established a sponsorship policy for greater accessibility and consideration of groups requesting support. The twice-a-year 
call for sponsorships requests will give stakeholders a clear process to follow and help in their planning. It also provides the means for the Port Authority to evaluate where its funding will have greatest impact.

Call Period
The first call for Community Event Sponsorships requests will be Sept. 1-30, 2016. The second call is scheduled for March 1-30, 2017. Table Sponsorships requests can be submitted year-round. Submit requests to Sponsorships@portcanaveral.com.
Sponsorship requests must be submitted in writing during one of the two scheduled calls. Written requests must address criteria outlined in policy in order to be considered.
