Port Canaveral is open and conducting normal Port operations, but anticipates limited waterside and vessel shoreside Port operations will follow as conditions change. Port Canaveral, FL –  The Canaveral Port Authority is expecting boat trailer parking at Port Canaveral will be in high demand again during the 2020 Federal Atlantic Recreational Red Snapper Season –  July 10, 11, and 12, 2020 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) which opens at 12:01 AM on July 10, 2020, and closes at 12:01 AM on July 13, 2020.

The Canaveral Port Authority cares for the safety and well-being of our employees, our partners and their guests, and the many customers, visitors, contractors and tenants of our Port.
 
Port Canaveral is at normal operations as we continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 developing situation.  We have further refined our operational tactics to ensure our preparedness as situations may evolve, and are working closely with our cruise and cargo partners on contingency plans with operational alternatives, should the need arise.  Changes to cruise sailings or itineraries are made by the cruise lines. The Port recommends contacting individual cruise lines with questions.

 
 
Effective 8:00 a.m. 02 September 2019, Hurricane Condition ZULU will be set in the Port of Canaveral.  No vessel, regardless of size or service, will be allowed to transit through the port, and all commercial vessels over 500 gross tons are prohibited from remaining in the port.
