Port Canaveral at "Condition X-Ray" in Advance of Hurricane Isaias

The U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port (COTP) has set hurricane condition "X-RAY" for Port Canaveral: Sustained gale force winds are predicted within 48 hours. Port Canaveral is open and conducting normal Port operations, but anticipates limited waterside and vessel shoreside Port operations will follow as conditions change. Please ensure your businesses and homes are clear of debris that may become projectiles in the wind. Check your disaster supply kit and re-stock if necessary. Jetty Park and the Exploration Tower will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday Aug 1 and 2. All camping guests must vacate by Saturday 12 noon.  There will be no access to the beach or fishing pier.
