State of Florida COVID Vaccine Site at Canaveral

Port Canaveral has worked with the State of Florida to establish an on-site COVID-19 vaccination center at the Port.

Anyone ages 16 and older – including members of our local community, plus crew members of cargo and cruise vessels – are able to receive a COVID-19 vaccination at Port Canaveral.  The walk-in, no cost, no appointment needed vaccine clinic is being operated by the Florida Department of Emergency Management at the Canaveral Port Authority’s Maritime Center; 445 Challenger Road, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and parking is free in the parking lot next to Maritime Center. Entrance on west side of building – follow the signs posted outside.  This program is expected to continue through Friday, June 18, 2021.

The State is providing TWO VACCINE OPTIONS at Port Canaveral – the Johnson and Johnson single shot dose is available now and for as long as supplies last; and, the first dose of the Pfizer two-dose vaccine will be available until May 21 to allow three weeks to pass before administering the second dose before the site closes.

For seafarers working onboard vessels, the Canaveral Port Authority has arrangements made for FL SHOTS providers to administer vaccines to any vessel’s crew while the ship is at berth at Port Canaveral. Ship agents may contact Senior Harbormaster Cody Driggers to schedule crew vaccinations: cdriggers@portcanaveral.com; mobile (321) 205-4556.
