Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the Canaveral Port Authority (the "Port Authority") at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019, before Michael B. Poole, Chief Financial Officer of the Port Authority, as the duly appointed hearing officer of the Port Authority, in the Commissioner's Meeting Room located at 445 Challenger Road, Cape Canaveral, Florida, for the purpose of receiving comments and hearing discussion of a plan of financing relating to the issuance by the Port Authority of its Port Improvement Revenue Bonds, Series 2020 (the "Series 2020 Bonds"), in an amount not to exceed $50,000,000, which will be issued for the principal purpose of financing the below-described capital improvements to be owned by the Port Authority (the "Project"):

IMPROVEMENTS TO CRUISE TERMINALS 8 AND 10.  The Project will include construction, renovation and equipping of Cruise Terminal 8 and Cruise Terminal 10, including terminal and berth improvements and a new passenger boarding bridge.  The Terminal improvements include a new luggage screening building, renovation of the first and second floor, reconfiguring seating area and check-in counters, and site, access, IT and electrical enhancements.  The berth improvements include structural and deck enhancements and mooring fixtures.

The Port Authority is located at the Canaveral Port Authority, 445 Challenger Road, Cape Canaveral, Florida 32920.  The Project will be owned by the Port Authority.  Cruise Terminal 8 improvements are located at 9155 Charles M. Rowland Drive, Cape Canaveral, Florida and Cruise Terminal 10 improvements are located at 9005 Charles M. Rowland Drive, Cape Canaveral, Florida.  The Project will be utilized by the Disney Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Lines and other various cruise lines.

All affected taxpayers, property owners and citizens and all other interested persons are invited to attend said hearing and, either personally or through their representatives, present comments and discussion, oral or written, concerning the proposed plan of financing and the nature and location of the Project.  Should any person decide to appeal any decision, he will need a record of the proceedings, and he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.  Any persons with disabilities requiring accommodations in order to participate in the hearing should contact (321) 783-7831 at least 24 hours in advance to request such accommodation.

The public hearing is required by Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.  Subsequent to the public hearing, the Port Authority will consider whether to approve the issuance of the Series 2020 Bonds and the financing of the Project as required by Section 147(f) of the Code.  Any person interested in the proposed plan of financing or the location or nature of the Project may appear and be heard.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 beginning at 9:00 a.m., the Canaveral Port Authority will hold a public hearing to discuss the state of recreational interests at Port Canaveral.  Members of the public are invited to discuss any issues, problems, concerns and proposals related to recreational interests at Port Canaveral.  The meeting will be held in the Commission Meeting Room of the Port Authority Administrative Offices at 445 Challenger Road, Cape Canaveral, Florida.  The meeting is open to the public.
