Port Canaveral, FL – MSC Cruises announced that the MSC Seaside will homeport from Port Canaveral beginning April 16, 2023, with three and four-night cruises to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas, and seven-night sailings to Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico, Belize, and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. The MSC Seaside, a popular Seaside-class ship specifically designed for Caribbean cruising, offers unique outdoor spaces along with a fantastic list of amenities.
Port Canaveral welcomed Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Freedom on her first call to the Port at a dockside ceremony as the ship prepared for her inaugural sailing from the Port’s Cruise Terminal 6.  The Carnival Freedom, which will be homeported at Port Canaveral, will offer four- and five-night itineraries to The Bahamas and the Eastern Caribbean, with stops in Nassau, Princess Cays, Bimini, Freeport, Amber Cove, Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay.
The SpaceX Falcon 9 Axiom 1 will be launching April 8th, targeting 11:17 a.m. U.S. Coast Guard Security Zone will be activated at 9:12 a.m. and the Safety Zone will be activated at 10:27 a.m. The Port of Canaveral will not be closed during the launch.

With shovels in hand, officials from the Canaveral Port Authority joined with leaders from federal, state, and municipal government, along with business and space industry representatives to ceremonially break ground on a massive $48 million project to rebuild Port Canaveral’s North Cargo Berth 3 (NCB3).

Port Canaveral, FL – January 24, 2022 - The Canaveral Port Authority (CPA) and Volusia County’s Division of Economic Development have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that establishes a working relationship promoting each other’s geographical and business advantages. The agreement aims to attract more global business by bringing more Florida-bound cargo to the region.

Royal Caribbean International has announced its new, highly anticipated ship, Wonder of the Seas, will homeport at Port Canaveral beginning November 2022. Set to become the largest cruise ship in the world when it debuts in March 2022, Wonder will sail 7-night itineraries to the eastern and western Caribbean. Destination highlights include Cozumel, Mexico; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; and San Juan, Puerto Rico; and each cruise will visit Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private island destination in The Bahamas that features thrill and chill – from the tallest waterslide in North America to The Bahamas’ first floating cabanas.
At first glance, the Seaport Canaveral Corporation, LLC fuel terminal located on the north side of Port Canaveral may look like a typical fuel depot in any other port around the U.S. But, there’s nothing typical about this terminal operations center.
Port Canaveral’s mobile harbor crane is back at work for a second time, lifting universal composite submarine panels for client, CPK Manufacturing LLC. The camels provide the U.S. Navy with a standardized energy-absorbing berthing solution for waterfront infrastructures.
