We’re excited for our Port and our community. Port Canaveral’s already popular home fleet is being enhanced by some of the newest and biggest ships in the world!
To pave the way for this new cruise era, we’ve been, and will continue to be, investing in the landside and waterside improvements needed to accommodate larger ships, more vehicle traffic and more passengers.
The arrivals of our five incoming queens of the sea — Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas and Carnival Dream (here now) and Norwegian Sun, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy (coming in 2010, 2011 and 2012) — promise not only great new cruise options, but millions of dollars in additional tourism revenues and millions more in ripple-effect income and jobs.
