PORT CANAVERAL, FL-February 2, 2010 - Rockledge business owner Tom Goodson will serve a second consecutive term as Chairman of the Canaveral Port Authority Board. The unanimous decision came during the election of officers at the first Commission meeting of the year.

Goodson, elected to the Commission from District 3 in 2002, owns his own paving company.

Elected as vice chairman was Joe Matheny, a Titusville resident who has served on the Commission from District 2 since 1998. Matheny is an attorney with his own firm.

Cocoa Beach resident Malcolm 'Mac' McLouth, the Port's former Executive Director who previously served on the Board for nearly 3 decades, was chosen as Secretary Treasurer. He was elected to the Board in November 2008 to represent District 5.

Also serving on the Board is Titusville resident Raymond Sharkey, a retired aerospace manager elected from District 1 in 1995. He served 23 years in the U.S. Air Force and is retired from Lockheed-Martin.
