Doing Business With Port Canaveral
Welcome to the Canaveral Port Authority's portal into "How to Do Business with the Port". This portal is intended to give prospective and current vendors all the information they need to monitor and participate in purchasing activities at Port Canaveral.
How to Become a Registered Vendor
The Canaveral Port Authority recognizes the importance of having a solid and diverse vendor database and constantly is seeking new sources of supply, as well as expansion of business into new areas with our current vendors.
To become a registered vendor, a vendor application must be submitted to Purchasing Services along with a W9 tax form and, in some cases, insurance certificates. Upon approval of the application, the vendor is assigned a number and is pre-qualified to provide products and services to the Port. A vendor cannot be issued a purchase order or paid until a vendor application is submitted and approved.
VENDOR REGISTRATION IS NOT A REQUIREMENT TO BID ON A PROJECT, HOWEVER, REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO CONTRACT EXECUTION.
Notification of Bidding Opportunities
The Port Authority intends to use this website as the primary means to communicate to vendors regarding bidding opportunities. We encourage all vendors to check the Current Solicitations section regularly. In addition, advertisements may be placed in the Florida Today newspaper and other publications. If an NIGP Commodity Code List was returned with the vendor application, vendors may be notified directly of bidding opportunities within the commodity codes areas indicated.
