R. Bruce Deardoff
Chairman
Robert 'Bruce' Deardoff was elected to the Board in November 2010 from District 4 for a term beginning January 2011. The Merritt Island resident is owner of Island Lincoln-Mercury Jaguar Land Rover, as well as several other dealerships in Central Florida.

 

Joe D. Matheny
Commissioner
Joe Matheny was elected to the Commission in 1997 from District 2. The Titusville resident is an attorney, practicing law there since 1963.

 
 

Thomas W. Weinberg
Vice Chairman
Cocoa Beach resident Thomas "Tom" Weinberg was elected from District 5 for a term beginning January 2011. Mr. Weinberg's career included positions as State Director and Chief of Staff for former U.S. Senator Mel Martinez.

 

Frank E. Sullivan
Commissioner
Frank Sullivan was elected to the Commission in November 2010 from District 3 for a term beginning January 2011. He is a lifelong resident of Cocoa and a third-generation citrus grower and shipper in Brevard County.

 
 

Jerry W. Allender
Secretary/Treasurer
Jerry Allender was elected to the Port Authority Board in August 2010 to represent District 1 for a term beginning January 2011. He is a resident of Titusville, where he practices law. Allender served as a Port Commissioner from 1983 to 1994.
