Summary Description:

The Canaveral Port Authority is seeking proposals from qualified Design-Build Teams to design, engineer, permit and provide construction services (D/B) to repair the public boat ramps at Freddie Patrick Park (formerly Central Park) at Port Canaveral, Florida. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is a two step process. Step 1 is a Qualifications and Short-Listing Proposal process, and Step 2 is a Price, Design, Technical and Schedule Proposal process. Participation in Step 2 will be limited to Step 1 Proposers who were successfully short-listed. Services will be acquired in compliance with the Consultants Competitive Negotiations Act, Florida Statutes 287.055. Project budget is $500,000 (U.S. Dollars) not including alternates if any.

A selection committee meeting will be held on March 14, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. for the purpose of selecting a short list for STEP 2. This selection will be presented to the Canaveral Port Authority Board of Commissioners for approval at their regular March 2013 meeting.
