Port Canaveral's cargo facilities are separated from the cruise ship areas. This increases the level of security and protects the integrity of cargo goods. Cargo areas are guarded 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To enter these secure areas, you must present the proper credentials. Please have your Department of Homeland Security's Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) card ready to present to the officer at the gate. For more information, visit our Public Safety page.
