Berths

As part of an ongoing commitment to our cargo facilities, Port Canaveral recently has completed $44 million in renovations - widening, extending and rebuilding - on its south cargo piers. A project now is under way to widen the shipping channel from 400 feet to 500 feet to make navigation easier for larger vessels and an extensive North Cargo area development study is under way. *For specific details on berths availability, please contact the Business Development Dept. at (321) 783-7831 ext 253.

Port Canaveral has nine dedicated cargo berths ranging from 400-1,000 ft long, with depths ranging from 35-40 ft. (MLW)

  • Accessibility: Berths accessible 24 hours, Monday-Saturday, Courtesy Day on Sundays - non-working vessels dock free of charge up to 18 hours.
  • Secured Facilities: Cargo areas are separate from cruise areas, well lighted, surrounded with security fencing and surveillance cameras, and guarded 24/7.
